1. Introduction
Welcome to MAO Agribase ("the Application"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Application, which is provided by the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. By creating an account and using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. User Accounts and Responsibilities
- Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Authorized Use: This Application is intended for official use by authorized personnel of the Municipal Agriculture Office and its stakeholders. Unauthorized access or use is strictly prohibited.
3. Data Integrity and Use
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data you input into the system. This includes, but is not limited to, farmer profiles, planting/damage/harvest reports, employee information, institutional records, and veterinary data. The data collected will be used solely for official purposes related to agricultural management, planning, and reporting.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Application to:
- Input knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or system data.
- Disrupt or interfere with the security or performance of the Application.
- Use the Application for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.
5. AI-Powered Features
The Application's diagnostic tools use third-party generative AI services (Google's AI Platform). By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- The diagnoses and recommendations are for informational purposes only and are **not a substitute for professional agronomic advice**.
- The AI's output may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. The Municipal Agriculture Office is not liable for any crop loss or damage resulting from the use of these tools.
- The images and text you submit will be sent to Google for processing to generate a response.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Application, or the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information and content, including AI-generated content.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developers or the Municipal Agriculture Office be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application, including reliance on any information or AI-generated content obtained through it.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms within the Application or via email.
