  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, designation, and other details you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application.
  • Official Data: Information you voluntarily input as part of your official duties. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Farmer and fisherfolk records (RSBSA).
    • Planting, damage, and harvest reports.
    • Employee profiles and assigned government properties.
    • Records of cooperatives and associations, including member lists.
    • Veterinary records, such as vaccination reports for pets and their owners.
    • Records of issued certifications and endorsements.
    You are responsible for ensuring you have the proper authority and legal basis to collect and input this data, especially when it concerns third parties.
  • AI Diagnostic Data: Images and text descriptions you provide for analysis in the Plant Disease Diagnosis and Pest & Weed Identifier tools. This data is sent to a third-party AI service (Google's Generative AI) for processing.
  • Geolocation Data: Farm boundary data (e.g., from KML files) that you upload for mapping and visualization purposes.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect for auditing and security purposes, such as your user ID and timestamps for actions like data creation or updates.
  • Cookies and Local Storage: We use essential cookies and local storage to manage your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use them for tracking or advertising.

3. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a secure, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

  • Create and manage your account and user profile.
  • Provide AI-powered diagnostics for plant health and pest identification.
  • Generate internal reports, statistics, and official documents for planning, monitoring, and submission.
  • Visualize agricultural data on maps.
  • Notify administrators of system events, such as new user registrations.
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and operational functionality of the system.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal or official information with third parties for their commercial purposes. Your information may be disclosed under the following limited circumstances:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect and defend the rights or property of the Municipal Agriculture Office.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: Data for diagnostics (images and text) is sent to Google's Generative AI Platform for the sole purpose of generating a result. This data is subject to Google's data privacy and security policies and is not used for training their models.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Our data is stored on Google's Firebase platform, which provides robust security controls. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or misuse.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
